Oh yeah, give it to me! So the Mandalorian gave me something I had wanted for a long time. A live action episodic Star War series. So I am a bit of a fanboy but the series was excellent. Well after three seasons and a bunch of cameos the duo is coming to the big screen. Let’s look at the first trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu coming to theaters May 22, 2026
I like what I see. So we got Sigourney Weaver telling the Din Djarin/The Mandolorian that a war needs to be prevented. The New Republic is trying to prevent the Empire from rising again and enlists his aid to stop a faction led by Jonny Coyne’s character. This is going to take our duo throughout the galaxy on what I see is an all new Razorcrest. And one of my all time favorites from the show Rebels Garazeb “Zeb” Orrelios is appeared voiced by legendary voice actor Steve Blum. Jon Favreau is directing and co wrote with Dave Filoni who will reprise his Trapper Wolf character from The Mandalorian show. Also I believe that is Martin Scorcese as the voice of the shopkeeper that slams the gate down on Din. Now there is another movie planned directed by Filoni that will culminate this universe. So don’t count our bounty hunter out just yet. I personally am still hoping for one more tv series.
