May is going to be a banger month. I am looking forward to season 2 of the Devil May Cry series on Netflix. The first season was amazing in terms of animation and story and it didn’t hurt Limp Bizkit’s Rollin was the opening theme, did not skip once. But May 12th season 2 is dropping and we’re getting teasers for the upcoming season. But enough talking, let’s watch a trailer.
Here we go! Dante and Virgil going at it? Sign me up. So Virgil was teased in Season 1 and we saw him fully in the last episode. With Dante having been put out at the end of the season we can assume there has been some time passed between there. It’s looking like Virgil became a problem and Dante is brought out to deal with it. I see that we’re going to touch on the backstory of their childhood with their mother and Dante living up to a promise to his mother to watch after Virgil. On top of that we also got a little teaser of Dante getting his signature weapons Ebony and Ivory.
Based on the series created by Capcom AdiShankar is the developer of the series for Netflix alongside Alex Larsen. Casting includes Johnny Yong Bosch as Dante, Scout Taylor-Compton as Mary Ann Arkham/Lady, Robbie Daymond as Vergil, Kevin Conroy and Ian James Corlett as William Baines, Kari Wahlgren as Eve Dante and Virgil’s mother, Chris Coppola as Enzo Ferino. Look for the series to debut May 12th, 2026.
