They just dropped the full trailer for Masters of the Universe, and it still has me ready to get my butt to the theater and lock in. Now we have the full reveal so let’s meet on the other side of the trailer and talk it out. Here is Masters of the Universe coming to theaters June 5th, 2026.
Okay, so we got a little bit more. I’m going to be honest here, the teaser was a bit better. However I am giving points back just because they put Cringer as the MGM Lion. We already know Adam was sent away from Eternia before the fall and there’s an over whelming feeling of sadness because he’s been in our world for quite some time. The crayon drawings of the sword and his parents paired with the music just made me sad for the character. But the best part of this was the reveals and closer looks at characters like Ram-Man, Mekanek, <snicker> Fisto. And I’m getting the feel that the power sword moment isn’t going to wait till the end or ¾ through the movie. I hate when we don’t get the power up moment till the end of films. This looks like we’ll have it maybe just after the halfway point because Eternia needs its heroes. Mainly because Skeletor has laid waste to everything. While the first trailer had us in wonder at all the nostalgia, this one is letting us know the stakes.
Directed by Travis Knight Masters of the Universe stars Nicholas Galitzine as Adam Glenn/He-Man Idris Elba as Duncan/Man at Arms, Camila Mendes as Teela, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Alison Brie as Evelyn Powers/ Evil-Lyn. Morena Baccarin as the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull, Kristen Wiig as Roboto, James Purefoy as King Randor, Charlotte Riley as Riley, Queen Marlena, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson as Goat Man, Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, James Wilkinson as Mekanek, Kojo Attah as TriKlops, Jon Xue Zhang as Ram-Man, and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as <snicker> Fisto.
