Now here is a series that I have waited more than a few years for. Masters of the Universe: Revelation is set to debut on Netflix July 23, 2021 and this has been a series in the making since 1985. Continuing off the original show it picks up the adventures of the various characters in the Masters of the Universe and wow it has all my favorites.
Now the trailer adds a bit more to the story and we find that Eternia is losing its magic. If you were a fan of the original series you know that most of the lore is based in magic so you can see why this would be alarming to the residents of Eternia.
Writers Kevin Smith, Eric Carrasco, Tim Sheridan, Diya Mishra, and Marc Bernardin written the first five episodes of part 1 of the series with part 2 not having a release date yet. Casting includes talents such as Chris Wood as Prince Adam / He-Man, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela, Mark Hamill as Skeletor, Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn, Kevin Conroy as Mer-Man, Kevin Michael Richardson as Beast Man, Henry Rollins as Tri-Klops, Tony Todd as Scare Glow, and Susan Eisenberg as Sorceress of Castle Grayskull.
