Antonio Banderas has joined Harrison Ford for Indiana Jones 5, which is currently filming. No word on who Banderas will play, as the plot of the movie is being kept under wraps. Banderas joins Mads Mikkelsen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Toby Jones, Shaunette Renee Wilson, and Boyd Holbrook. The film is directed by James Mangold, with Steven Spielberg as producer along with Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel. This is the first Indiana Jones film not directed by Steven Spielberg, and the first film co-creator George Lucas has no involvement. Composer John Williams is returning once again to score the film. Harrison Ford did suffer an shoulder injury during filming on June 23rd, though shooting continued, working around his recovery. The film is expected to debut in theaters on July 29th, 2022.
