Am I angry that Sony did not release the trailer for the new Spider-Man movie yesterday, on Spider-Man Day? You bet I am! Come on guys it was Spider-Man Day. But hey I can get mad and then get over it especially when they release a new and terrifying trailer for the new Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
Oh wow. I knew if they were bringing Carnage to the big screen it was going to need to be a few things, violent, terrifying, and bloody. Clearly Sony got the message because this looks all of those things. Woody Harrelson looks to have done his homework on the serial killer Cletus Kassidy who through an interaction with Venom played by returning actor Tom Hardy. Scheduled for a release in the U.K. September 15th, 2021 and in the U.S. September 24th, 2021 after being pushed back from its original October date in 2020. Tom Hardy has also stated he has signed on for a third movie.
I admittedly was pleasantly surprised at how good Venom was so I’m happy to revisit this franchise. This movie trailer did exactly what it needed to do. And September is right around the corner. Let’s go!
