Just when you think it’s going to be a quiet evening Sony drop a bomb on you. Here we have our first look at the sequel to one of the best Spider-Man movie ever made in my opinion. Check out the first look at Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse.
Well my Spider Sense is tingling. Look Into the Spider-Verse was one of the most or in my correct opinion, the most well received Spider-Man movie in years. The artistic style, superb voice acting, and unique story had me watching it several times. Also in case you missed it this is only part one so we’re getting another one and I couldn’t be happier. The official synopsis for the sequel says.
“Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar®-winning Spider-Verse saga, an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered.”
Returning to the cast will be Shameik Moore as Miles Morales / Spider-Man, Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker / Spider-Man, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy / Spider-Gwen along with newcomers Oscar Isaac as Miguel O’Hara / Spider-Man 2099, and Issa Rae as Jessica Drew / Spider-Woman. Looking at the poster it looks like they might be joined by a few more Spider-Men as well. If that big robot isn’t from the Emissary of Hell, I’ll eat a brick. Joaquim Dos Santos will direct the film as well. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Part One debuts October 7th 2022.
