She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Trailer and Debut Date Announced

It’s a good time to be a fan of Marvel. I’m getting a constant flow of movies and TV shows on Disney+ and overall, in my opinion it’s being executed pretty well. With Ms. Marvel to debut soon we must tease the newest series to come to the streaming platform and it is the highly anticipated She-Hulk. Let’s look at the trailer.

That was pretty awe, hold up, that was Frog Man. They put Frog Man in this show?! I’m out. Okay maybe not. But seriously they put Frog Man in a live action series. I don’t know what’s real anymore. Back to the main character as we see this is going to be the origin story for Jennifer Walters played by Tatiana Maslany. And I must admit I already like the actor in the role She’s got that humor that we’re going to need with Shulkie. But also in the series will be Mark Ruffalo reprising his role as Bruce Banner/ The Hulk and Cousin to Jennifer. So, the premise of the series will see Jennifer leading a legal team dedicated to superheroes. And it looks like she’s going to have a few familiar and unfamiliar clients as we see Tim Roth returning to the role of Emil Blonsky/ The Abomination who we last saw duking it out with Benedict Wong’s character Wong in Shang-Chi. Wong is also set to appear in the series. Also taking up the role of one of Jennifer’s rivals Titania will be Jameela Jamil.

I’m hoping here for a heavy comedy series. Almost like a sitcom with the occasional fights breaking out, and some serious focus on the legal drama as well. It would set it apart from some of the other Marvel shows as this is the eight series that Marvel has put on Disney Plus. We need some real variety. The series was created by Jessica Gao and directing duties fall to Kat Coiro. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law debuts August 17, 2022, with nine episodes only on Disney Plus.
