It’s time to go back to Silent Hill. Which let me clarify you will never find me doing but apparently the good people of Konami along with Ciniverse have decided it’s a good idea. So here we have the first trailer for Return to Silent Hill. Let’s watch and talk after the jump.
January 23rd, 2026 is right around the corner guys. Now if you watch our live show and you should you’ll know producer Cora has been all over this. So first off Christophe Gains who directed Silent Hil (2006) is back on to bring us this installment. He’s been quoted as saying this won’t be a direct sequel but think of it more like an anthology series where any story can be told in this strange place.
We follow James who after leaving Silent Hill returns to find it quite different after getting a letter calling him back. So Silent Hill has always been terrifying on a psychological level but don’t get it mixed up there are some things that can physically end you as well. Especially Pyramid Head who looks to be front and center for more than a few scenes in the trailer. Also we’re learning this film is more of an adaptation from Silent Hill 2 but apparently Komani had a hand in updating some designs which if I need to remind you debuted in 2001.
The film will star Jeremy Irvine/James Sutherland, Hannah Emily Anderson/Mary, Evie Templeton/Laura who also did the mocap work for Laura in the remake of Silent Hill 2, Robert Strange/Red Pyramid, Pearse Egan/Eddie, and Martine Richards/Claudette. Set to premiere January 23rd 2005 in the U.S. it is directed by Cristophe Gans and produced by Victor Hadida, Molly Hassel, and David Wulf.
