Look I was always in that sect of Star Wars fans who thought while Boba Fett looked cool but didn’t really consider him a serious player. Well then, The Mandalorian straightened me out but good. Look the Clone Wars only really made Jango Fett a bad ass, but Boba still had a way to go. Generally the Star Wars universe has gone to great lengths over the years to legitimize Boba’s skills whether in be in novels, comics, games, etc. Well then, The Mandalorian came along and brought Temuera Morrison back to the role as the father of all the clones and the best bounty hunter in the galaxy. And can we be honest? Temuera has had one of the best runs in the Star Wars universe. Okay enough talk, here’s the trailer for the newest Disney+ series The Book of Boba Fett.
I was wondering where we were going at the end of the Mandalorian with Boba Fett taking the throne from Bib Fortuna, sorry, spoilers. But now we see that our resident bounty hunter is looking to up his game to underworld boss. And yes, I like the idea of Boba looking to maybe have a network of do dirt aliens while he literally sits on the throne as the empire builds. I’m a huge fan of this concept as the Star Wars underworld has always been an important part of the universe. Who doesn’t like getting into the dark under belly of organized crime? And joining him at his right had is going to be Ming Na Wen reprising her role as Fennec Shan the mercenary and assassin introduced in The Mandalorian who was saved from death by Boba.
The Book of Boba Fett will have an eight episode run when it premieres December 29th, 2021. The Mandalorian has certainly opened up the Star Wars Universe to a lot of new characters and I’m here to see why Boba Fett is one of the baddest in the universe.
