It’s a good day for a new trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Debuting November 11th, 2022 the second installment of the Black Panther movie will make it’s debut. Now we all miss Chadwick Boseman who we lost far to early but his impact will still be felt as we move forward with the memories he left us. Everyone was wondering how the franchise goes forward with some very large shoes to fill. Well, us comic readers knew immediately there was an opportunity just waiting to be seized here. Please check out the official trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
I’m happy that we’re going to acknowledge the passing of Chadwick as T’Challa, though I know it’s going to be very sad. But bring on that sweet pain. I’d rather shed a tear for someone who deserved any day of the week. But the plot of the movie will see Namor looking to usurp the throne of Wakanda after the death of it’s king. Already I see some of my favorites from the original cast rising to face this new threat along with out first look at Riri Williams played by Dominique Thorne and a look at her Ironheart suit. Now looking at the poster Shuri is front and center and the last shot of the trailer should give you an indication of our new Black Panther.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will see director Ryan Coogler return with a script written by him and Joe Robert Cole. The movie will star Letitia Wright as Shuri / Black Panther, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams / Ironheart, Tenoch Huerta as Namor, and Angela Bassett as Ramonda. Tickets are on sale right now and the film will debut November 11th. 2022.
