Well, we’ve got the trailer for Nickelodeon’s Star Trek Prodigy set to premiere this fall on Paramount Plus. This series takes place after the events of Star Trek Voyager as a crew of young aliens discover an old Federation star ship.
I’m going to say it’s nice to get a series from Star Trek catering to a younger audience. I mean I’m a father of two I like when my kids discover new things to bring them into a genre that I’m into as well. Now one of the main announcements of this series was that Captain Janeway would be appearing in it played by Kate Mulgrew. And yes the good Captain will be a holographic generated guide to our young crew. Casting for the series will be Rylee Alazraqui as Rok-Tahk, Ella Purnell as Gwyn, Angus Imrie as Zero, Jason Mantzoukas as Jankom Pog, Brett Gray as Dal, and Dee Bradley Baker as Murf. Alex Kurtzman will be executive producer and Ben Hibon will direct.
