Summer is almost over, which means it’s time for the Moonfire Fare! Each year presents a new questline filled with summer fun, so what can we expect this year. We don’t really have too much information currently on the questline, but do know one thing: It’s going to involve the cold.
A summer event? In the cold? That may not seem to make sense, but it seems we’ll be bringing some frozen treats to the summery vacation spot of Costa del Sol. Last year’s event involved dancing for a giant bomb as it fought a shark with buff limbs, so it’ll be very interesting to see what wacky adventure we get sent on involving ice cream.
While we got a cool outfit and dance emote for our efforts in the shark fight, it looks like this year we will be getting a fun mount: A polar bear! What better way to close out the summer than with a frosty new friend. There will also be some new housing items in the form of edible treats and a mask stand for festive fun in your front yard!
The questline will begin in Limsa Lominsa’s Aftcastle by speaking to Mayaru Moyaru. The only official requirement is level 30, but you will need to be able to travel to Costa del Sol as well. Thankfully however, you can always bribe an FC mate or friend to give you a taxi ride to the town’s aetheryte. 😉
