One of my all time favorite franchises is making a comeback. Just announced at Gamescom 2021 a new Saints Row game will be debuting February 25th 2022.
“As the future Boss, with Neenah, Kevin, and Eli by your side, you’ll form The Saints – and take on Los Panteros, The Idols, and Marshall as you build your empire across the streets of Santo Ileso and battle for control of the city. Ultimately Saints Row is the story of a start-up company, it’s just that the business The Saints are in happens to be crime.”
Admittedly I fell off this series after Saints Row the Third but I have always been a fan of the over the top nature of the series versus the world of GTA. Also giving me super powers in a game in an instant draw. I like that we’re getting a fresh crew in to revitalize the series as well. Preorders are now up on Xbox and Playstation platforms. Base game will run you 59.99 and a gold edition will be 89.99. And yes I know this one is said to not be as crazy as the previous ones but looking at the trailer its right up my alley. Time to do some crime.
