I’m going to have to declare this the month of father figure Pedro Pascal. It’s off to a good start with The Last of Us but that’s in our foreseeable future. Let’s see what he’s doing in a galaxy far far away because we have a trailer for the upcoming third season of The Mandalorian. Trailer incoming let’s check it out.
Well we are getting a mess of Mandalorians which I figure we should just call any grouping of Mandalorians a murder. Sorry crows, but it’s working for me. This season has the titular character Din Djarin returning to the planet Mandalore. But there’s not a lot we can draw from the trailer. What I can ask is why are there several Jedi lightsabers at the ready? Is this a flashback, are there more Jedi in this era? We also see Grogu flinging a creature aside like something that wasn’t edible.
Set for eight episodes all are written by Jon Favreau with directors Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, and Dave Filoni returning to direct episodes. Series regular Carl Weathers who plays Greef Karga will also step into the directors seat. Also returning to the series will be Emily Swallow as the Armorer, Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze, and Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto. Joining the cast as well will be Christopher Lloyd and Tim Meadows. The Mandalorian debuts on Disney Plus March 1st, 2013.
