I hope everyone has had a chance to watch The Book of Boba Fett because I enjoyed the series. With all this Star Wars on the horizon the younger me would not have believed there was more than the expanded universe in books and my own mind. But no sooner than we get the final episode of the Boba Fett series Disney drops the teasing of the next one. Coming May 25th will be the first episode of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Set to be directed by Deborah Chow Obi-Wan Kenobi brings Ewan McGregor back to the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi Jedi Master. Set ten years after the events of Order 66 Obi Wan lives in hiding on the desert planet Tatooine looking over a young Luke Skywalker as he is cared for by his Aunt Beru played by Bonnie Piesse and Uncle Owen Lars played by Joel Edgerton. Also can we appreciate them reprising their roles from Attack of the Clones. Also returning will be Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker now Darth Vader.
Now I know some of you are wondering, why not do this on May 4th considering filming has been completed for months. Well May 25 is officially the 45th anniversary of the premiere of Star Wars. Yes the little film they debuted in just 32 theaters way back when and sparked a franchise that’s arguably more popular now than it has ever been. Dear readers understand I am a Star Wars mark and will continue to be till I die. And right now I live in the best timeline cause I have all the Star Wars I can possibly watch. Obi Wan Kenobi will have a six episode run with scripts written by Joby Harold.
