FanDome Debuts New Trailer for The Batman
DC’s FanDome event is over for the day but let’s talk about that new trailer for The Batman. But first we need to watch it. Check it out below.
I’m liking what I’m seeing here. And what I’m seeing are the elements I like about Batman. The almost legendary unrelentless pursuit of justice. Robert Pattinson is giving that with this character. A psychotic pursuit against everything evil. Batman’s main weapon is fear, and this is going all ahead on that concept. As far as I’m concerned this looks like some top-notch work and I’m ready to buy a ticket and plant my butt in a seat.
But the rest of this cast has come to work too. Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/ Catwoman. Already I like what she’s bringing to Catwoman. It doesn’t hurt that I think she’s, well she’s smoking hot also has that sexy yet capable Catwoman vibe. Andy Serkis is going to kill it as Alfred. It’s Andy Serkis he can do it all y’all. But let me ask this. HOW IS THAT COLIN FARRELL AS PENGUIN?! There, got that out of the way.
Matt Reeves looks like he’s put together a great piece with he materials provided. I’m notoriously biased against Batman movies. I hate the stop start nature of the movies as a series. But we’ve had good Batmen, Keaton is coming back! And bad Batmen, I’m still mad George, still mad. The Batman debuts in theaters March 4th, 2022.
