Discovered this gem of a trailer while going through the internet. So, Talk to Me is an upcoming horror film from A24, one of the best independent studios going. Known for Ex Machina, Uncut Gems, and their latest Everything Everywhere All At Once. This trailer for Talk to Me looks downright terrifying. Check it out.
Wow, that’s all I can say. Okay I can say more, or this would be a boring article. This movie already seems to have a strong cast because they are conveying the terror for me. I can feel the tension, and this is just the trailer. Superb execution because the point of the trailer is to make you want to go see the movie. And I need to see this movie. The official synopsis states.
“When a group of friends discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand, they become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and opens the door to the spirit world forcing them to choose who to trust: the dead or the living.”
Debuting July 28, 2023 the movie is the directorial debut of Danny and Michael Philippou known for their work on their YouTube channel RackaRacka. Written by Bill Hinzman, Daley Pearson, and Danny Philippou the film will star Sophie Wilde as Mia, Joe Bird as Riley, Miranda Otto as Sue, Otis Dhanji as Daniel, Alexandra Jensen as Jade, and Zoe Terakes as Hayley. Look for Talk to Me in theaters July 28th, 2023.
